Cuisinart grind and brew coffee maker
If you love using fresh coffee beans to make your pot of coffee every morning then the Cuisinart grind and brew coffee maker is the machine you’ve been looking for. Myself I always found it to be messy to grind coffee beans on my kitchen counter with a bean grinder. It was tough to keep the machine from making some sort of tiny mess, even when I was very careful. Hence my reason for purchasing a Cuisinart grind and brew coffee maker.
The Cuisinart Grind and Brew does just as it’s name describes. It grinds fresh coffee for you every pot from beans you add, and then brews a pot all with the same machine. It can take a little getting used to adding the right amount of beans for the quantity of water you add. The manual suggests so many scoops for every cup of water, and even comes with a measuring scoop how ever depending on how strong/weak you like your coffee it can take some toying with to get just right.
One of the great features this coffee maker offers users is the ability to double heat the water if you’re only making a small pot. The Cuisinart grind and brew has a simple button to push for 4 cups or less that automatically double heats the water so that your pot (if it’s a smaller amount) gets double heated and is still pipping hot when it’s done brewing.
A filter in the water reservoir ensures that if you have hard water it gets filtered before brewing, and the timer feature makes for a nice treat if your disciplined enough to set everything before you go to bed each night. Nothing like waking up to the fresh aroma of coffee from your Cuisinart grind and brew coffee maker each morning and you don’t have to lift a finger.
Like any product there are some down sides to the Cuisinart grind and brew. There are a lot of pieces that require cleaning, the grinder is 2 parts, the basket has a built in filter if you choose to use it then the carafe and it’s lid. While it does take longer then an average drip coffee maker it’s well worth the wait. The coffee this machine brews from fresh beans is far better then any other machine I’ve used.

Cuisinart has two model s one with a thermal carafe and one with a glass carafe. Depending on how long you leave your coffee once it boiled will play a big roll in which one is right for you. The regular Cuisinart grind and brew coffee maker is available in white or black, while the Cuisinart grind and brew thermal model is a brushed steel. Both are a nice looking appliance, and brew and exceptional pot of coffee. In conclusion while the clean up is a bit above normal I would still buy another Cuisinart grind and brew coffee maker. The coffee it makes in my opinion is far above average, and I enjoy being able to grind beans for every pot. The noise level the grinder makes is minimal so it’s no trouble using in the mornings if there are others still asleep when you’re up brewing, if you’re in the market for a new coffee maker or have been toying with the idea of purchasing this one don’t hesitate any longer you won’t be sorry with this purchase.
